A bit of history about the Super 5 and Super 5 GT Turbo

The Renault Super 5 (C400), launched in 1984, succeeded the Renault 5 with a modern design and improved features. In parallel, the Super 5 GT Turbo (C405) was introduced in 1985 as a sports version of the Super 5. Equipped with a 1.4-liter turbo engine developing 115 horsepower. The GT Turbo had two phases: Phase 1, produced from 1985 to 1986, featured a distinctive exterior design with sporty elements such as specific wheels and GT Turbo logos. Phase 2, launched in 1987, benefited from some technical and aesthetic improvements, including better interior finishing and changes to exterior details. The Super 5 GT Turbo has become a classic of the 80s, appreciated for its sporty character and its performance.
