The Simca Rallye 1, introduced in 1972, is a sports version of the Simca 1000, equipped with a 1.3-litre engine developing 60 horsepower. It is distinguished by its lightweight chassis and sporty improvements, such as decorative stripes and specific wheels. Designed for rallies and amateur races, it marked the beginning of the Simca Rallye series.
