Alpine A110

A bit of history about the Renault Alpine A110

The Renault Alpine A110, nicknamed the "Berlinette," was launched in 1962 and quickly became a motorsport icon. With its lightweight fiberglass body and tubular chassis, the A110 was powered by Renault engines, including the 1.1-liter from the R8 Gordini. It was released in several versions, such as the A110 1100cc³, A110 1300cc³, A110 1600S, A110 1600SX and the A110 V85. Its exceptional handling and its rally successes, including winning the World Rally Championship in 1973, consolidated the Alpine legend. A rival to the sports models of the time, such as those from Simca, the Alpine A110 remains a benchmark for its performance and distinctive design, appealing to classic car enthusiasts.
