A bit of history about the Renault 4CV

The Renault 4CV (R1060), launched in 1947, is an emblematic car of the post-war revival of the French automobile industry. Designed to be an accessible and practical car, the 4CV quickly gained popularity. It was the direct competitor of the Juvaquatre. The Renault 4CV Sport (R1062 and R1063), launched in the 1950s, was a sporty version of the 4CV, offering improved performance thanks to a more powerful engine and technical modifications that made it a real pleasure to drive. With over 1.1 million units produced, the Renault 4CV has made automotive history and has been replaced by the Renault Dauphine.
